Big Girl Bed

We have been planning this move for quite a while now. The Whalens let us have these antiquish white twin beds for the girls rooms, but we just weren't ready for our baby to grow up. Now it is time to let her get a little bigger.

Here she is in her new big girl bed. Can't you tell she is ready to sleep????

Bailey's bed is half way finished. Kevin's mom was in town last weekend and thankfully she finished stripping the old paint off of Bailey's twin. Now I just have to sand it down and paint. It shouldn't be too hard, right Mom? =)

A new addition

Last week we finally added on to our family. It has been a long two month process while I found the right breed, the right place, the right dog. And here she is...

Lucy



She is half Shih Tzu and half Yorkshire Terrier, which they call a Shorkie. She is 9 1/2 weeks old now and only 3 1/2 pounds. She should get as big as her mom, around 10 pounds. She is gentle and loves to cuddle, not to mention so cute. Just look at her teddy bear face.

Today

Today is my 15th wedding anniversary.

Wow.

Who would have thought he would have put up with me this long? ;)
