Questions

I am sure there is a word for it and maybe you all can help us define it. We experience it here quite often but aren't real sure what to call it.

Here is an example of it...

You have a child that is involved in an activity that they enjoy. It is about time for them to go, but they have not yet started their homework.

Are you ready to go?

Yes

Have you done your homework yet?

No

Well then you can't go.

Okay.

Just okay... no stoppage of playing... no mood change... no action to correct the situation...just okay.

We call these "Baileyisms" for lack of a better word.

That's the point! It is so her! But she had been looking forward to going, she was moving up a class.

she's very Zen. she accepts the situation as it is,and sees futility in meaningless struggle....
