For all you Guitar Hero regulars, I am sorry to say that you have lost your chance at stardom.
Sorry.
But then again, you may still have a chance.
On the last Saturday we were at the beach, we arrived, as usual, early in the morning. We usually set up around 9 in the morning, but remember my earlier post about being on the boardwalk by 6:30? Everything was closed... this time someone had been there open and rocking since 5:30 AM. Who can rock at 5:30 in the morning?!?!
Like Guitar Hero, there is another game rock star inspired called Rock Band. Being that I have never played either, forgive me any misconceptions... I believe that with Guitar Hero it is just you and the game. With Rock Band, you and your best pals all get to rock away. You choose if you want to play guitar, drums or just sing.
There was a tent set up for any rock star want-to-bes and it was a Rock Band contest! You had to win your bracket in order to go on to the semi-finals and finals. I can't tell you what they were viaing for, but I can say that the kids were riveted! They kept running up to the boardwalk just to watch.
Like I said, you may still have your chance... Check your local listings to see if it is coming to a town near you!

too bad all the guitar hero fans here weren't there. i'm so guitar hero challenged, i know nothing!
rofl! I would love to get Rock Band for the Wii. But there are rumors that Guitar Hero is coming out with a Rock Band-ish type of game. I think I'll be waiting it out to see which one we want to get. The boys are chomping at the bit to play all those instruments!
