We are home today with a snow day which is good since I needed an extra day to get better. I have been home sick the last 2 days with a runny nose and fever. Yuck!
Courtney and Sylvain finally had their little boy, Penn Inigo, on Feb 22nd. He is a cutie too! Nice and healthy. All are doing well.
Dillon and I went to Fargo, and the girls survived a weekend home alone with Dad ;) (just teasing honey) Dillon's team went 2-3 for the weekend. They did not play well at all, but the two games that Dillon was in goal were the two games they won! That was cool.
Kevin's team won State that weekend and then went on to win Regionals in Phoenix a few weeks later. All four Thunderbird teams went to regionals and all four went 4-0 for the weekend! They are are moving on to Nationals April 7th.
Two amazing things happened for me on March 8th. The teacher for whom I was working full time in the long term sub position came back to work, but decided that she didn't want to stay on full time. She stepped into the part time position and I get to stay on full time as the 3rd grade teacher through the end of the year!!! Yeah! I love it!
The other cool thing that day was that Kevin got me tickets for my first concert in a long time. I usually don't care to spend the money to go, but this one was awesome! Bon Jovi!!! Both Kevin and I went to our first concerts in fifth grade and so we decided to take Dillon along with us!

The show was incredible. D loved it too for the first hour. Then by 9:00 he was dead tired but still on his feet now and then. By 10 he wasn't getting out of his seat. By the end, he was in my lap. We got home at midnight, and he missed the next day at school. (It was a CSAP testing day.) I know- a teacher letting her kid stay out on a CSAP testing night! I say live life. Enjoy. He made up the testing he missed and he got to go to his first concert.
Lastly- this past weekend Dillon's team played for the state title at the Pepsi Center! He was up against the team he played with last year. Front Range (this year's team) went up 2 goals in the first period and never looked back. Final score 2-0!
Front Range Panters are the Colorado State Squirt A champions!!!! ( I am looking for a picture to share. Can you believe I left my camera at home???)

Great update!! Great timing for the snowstorm too! You have extremely beautiful children. What concert did you go to in 5th grade? Where were we living in 5th grade? ?AL
