I need to be fair to Kevin and take a moment to explain that first date experience.
Kevin and I met through my Sorority and through the Psych department at UW. He was a Psych major and I was a Psych minor. He had noticed me in a few classes and also knew that I was a Pi Phi. Some of the "gentlemen" that served at my house were from his fraternity and he was looking to work for free food or something. I never did ask him why he was hashing there, but he was.
Every Monday evening we had meetings at my sorority. We had to dress up, attend formal dinner and then go on to meetings. Kevin was serving and after they had cleared our plates, the gentlemen served us desert. I foiled Kevin's plan that evening by not enjoying a desert (times sure have changed!). He brought me out a rose and placed it on my plate. We ended up going over to the library the next evening and then to taco bell. Our real first date was the next Saturday.
He had made reservations at the nicest steak restaurant in Laramie and then we headed over to Cheyenne to see a movie, Silence of the Lambs. Okay, not the most romantic movie, but a real date none-the-less.
Also to update the team's success from last weekend.
They came in third. Yep- third in the nation!
Not too shabby!

Hey now. Nothing wrong with a fast food first first date in college. Dave took me to Wendy's and asked me to order off of the 99cent menu.
Beat that, dude!
Not sure that I want to!
=)
love the new look to the bloggie...congrats on surviving hockey season!
I almost thought I was in the wrong blog! LOL! Love it! I had to LOL at the real first date too. I watched Silence of the Lambs out of the corner of my eye at my dad's house while playing cards. Yeah. Liked it that much. *shiver* But I guess it *is* a little better than taco bell or wendy's... ;-)
Love the new layout!
