Take a look at the news coming from VT-rain is all we have had, roads have washed away, bridges gone, trees falling over from saturated ground, gardens ruined! But as I said to Dad last PM-I love the sound of rain. (Just not this year)
The kids did NOT love the tornado warning. They thought they'd hit the jackpot when we got to the basement, until Jon told them they couldn't play with all the wonderful toys stashed down there.
And Madeline was panicked by the whole thing. Sigh.

me too! although my little neighborhood has missed out on downpours, I still sleep much better with the sound of rain.
