After 11 years of not getting a speeding ticket I get one yesterday. 11 years!!! And for going 35. Not 35 mph over the speed limit. Just 35 mph, only in a school zone. And not just a warning type ticket, a $230- $280 ticket. I know that Denver is looking for ways to pay off budget shortfalls but really. So here is your warning friends.
Stop at stop lights.
Fully stop at stop signs.
And finally, slow down in school zones.
Here ends your public service announcement for today.
Donations are greatfully accepted.

My deepest sympathies. I know how it feels. I have recieved a written invitation to meet with the City of Centennial to discuss my contribution to their coffers for making a wrong turn. I am hoping they will reduce the points (3)and fine ($70.00)once they see how apologetic I am. Diana
OUCH!
oh bummer! Sorry to hear that:( I just got my first speeding ticket back in march. It was on I-25. He told me his laser picked me up 800 yards away. Mine was only $130 which is still ridiculous. They must not be giving any warnings any more:(
