Today is one of those day that you either get nothing done, or a lot done. It is kinda dreary, overcast, chilly. It makes you want to curl up with a good book or watch a movie tucked into the couch, or you just settle in and the work gets done.
Today is a day for work to get done... for me anyways.
I have a "to do" list. Things that I see when I walk around the house and say to myself, "yep, that needs to be done." Some are important things, some not so much. Like organizing my scrapbook pages. This is not something that comes to the top of the list very often, hardly ever really, but today I got it done. Sorted the pages according to year... Sorted again according to date... got them into albums or rearranged if they were already in the albums. Nice work. Made me want to scrap some more pages.
Then I noticed Avery's idea of organizing.
You see, she had been busy working the entire time I was working. It was quiet with little spattering of jibber jabber here and there. A frustrated cry would break through every once in a while. But she would work it out.
She decided to organized Dillon and Bailey's art drawers. And the puzzle cabinet. Both of these projects are on my list of things to do, but not in the manner that Avery had undertook.
Oh well, I guess I can cross two more things off the list today. I will have to clean up this mess and now that she is down for her nap, I know that she will not be "helping" me somewhere else in the house.
