My school is back in session. I am taking only one class right now, Multicultural and Ethical Perspectives in Education. There isn't too much school work, but there are observation hours that need to be spent in a very diverse classroom. Luckily, the kid's school is very diverse. It has spanish, russian, french, indian, etc. I just haven't seen many physically handicapped students there. Only one in the 3+ years that the doors have been open.
I have also begun to substitue at the school. Last week I was able to work in Bailey's room for a few hours. It went really well. I was nervous, but now I feel more ready for what is expected. When I was called in again yesterday, I was ready to step in. I was worried about being in Bailey's room, but she also held up well, remembering to be a student first.
I will check in again, as I can.
