A week later there were suspicitions.
Now it has been confirmed.
We got quite a deal, just not a deal that either of us intended.
Five dogs for the price of one.

She is due THIS WEEK!

Neither Kevin or I have any experience with girl dogs. We have no idea what to do. When I left the vet today, I was so dumb-founded I didn't know what to do. Luckily I had the presence of mind enough to ask for information to take home and read. They had the presence of mind to get me a birthing crate. Now I just have to convince her that that is where she wants to give birth... this week.
Did I mention that at least four puppies are being born this week? In my house?
Maybe five.

Oh Tara, WOW! We are looking for a dog, so let me know what your plans are! Congratulations on having the peace of mind to ask for reading materials, I don't think I would have remembered.
Thanks Houston. I think we are going to do the fostering program through the shelter that we got her from. They will pay all the vet bills, and provide all the things that we will need for the puppies.
If you are truly interested in one of the puppies, you would just have to come in with me when I surrender them back to the shelter. You then would have first pick of the litter.
